Jharkhand Bed Entrance Exam 2024: JCECEB has issued a notification for the candidates who want to become Teachers after completing a B.Ed/ M.Ed/ B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed course in Jharkhand state. To get admission in this course, one has to appear in Jharkhand B.Ed/ M.Ed/ B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by JCECEB. The process of online application form for Jharkhand bed will start on 15 February 2024 on the official website of jceceb. Who is Eligible for Jharkhand B.ed Course 2024?
Eligibility for the Jharkhand Bed course is mainly based on three parameters, educational qualification, and age. Given below are the eligibility criteria for the Jharkhand Bed course.
- Candidate with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) either Bachelor’s Degree and/or in Master’s Degree in Science/Social in Science/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC PWD & other reserved categories) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for consideration in admission to B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed course. For admission in M.Ed/M.P.Ed, the minimum qualification shall be B.Ed/B.P.Ed.
- The Candidate shall have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% in this subject. The subject will henceforth be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed course.
- There is no restriction in the passing year to apply in B.Ed/M.Ed/B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed course.
- Students in the final year of Bachelor/Master programme shall also be eligible to apply for B.Ed admission; however, their candidature shall be subject to the submission of final result at the time of admission and meeting the marks percentage criteria mentioned in clause 4.1.
